From vintage to vintage, it has proven to be one of the best, if not the best, red wine in Croatia made from Merlot grapes.
Punta Grecu is produced by Medein Marko Krstačić and Milan Budinski, the most respected Croatian wine consultant.
On just a few hectares of the cape, which is often sprinkled with salt, as many as five different Merlot clones are planted, which has proven to be a strategic advantage in modern vineyard management. The wine is deep, with aromas of sweet, ripe red and black fruit and dark chocolate.

KABOLA MERLOT 0.75l
The wine is adorned with a beautiful, elegant ruby-red color, it is clear and dense. Its aroma is fine and pleasant, initially dominated by notes of blueberry, followed by raspberry, as well as black pepper and cinnamon. The wine is dry, warm, and soft, almost velvety. It has good freshness, fine and soft tannins, and is very enjoyable to drink, characterized by a full body. The wine is well-balanced, with pronounced flavor intensity and good persistence on the palate. It is harmonious, with a note of dried plum appearing in the aftertaste.
MENEGHETTI RED MAGNUM 1.5l
On the nose, aromas of high-quality raspberries and currants dominate, highlighted by notes of vanilla, smoke, coffee, and cinnamon.
A lively, fruity, and soft wine with a complex mineral flavor, complemented by fine tannins that provide a pronounced long finish.
Aging: 18 months in barrique barrels, followed by an additional 3 years in the bottle.
VOLAREVIĆ PLAVAC MALI GOLD EDITION MAGNUM 5l
The wine is dominated by aromas of ripe fruit such as blackberries and raspberries, with notes of chocolate and both red and black pepper.
A very complex body with soft tannins and pleasant acidity, resulting in a balanced and distinctive wine.
This wine is produced only in exceptional vintages.
Hand-harvested at night to preserve freshness and varietal aromas.
The grapes are then hand-sorted, gently crushed, and transferred to tanks for maceration, which lasts 15–30 days depending on the vintage and the desired level of extraction.
The wine is then aged in a combination of used Croatian, French, and American oak barrels to best preserve its varietal aromas.
The wine matures for 18–24 months in barrels.
After aging, the wine is transferred to large wooden tanks for stabilization and, after bottling, it is further aged in the bottle for a minimum of one year before release.
